When do I pay?+

After the service. Once the detail is finished and you've inspected it, your detailer takes payment on the spot — cash, Interac e-Transfer, or a debit or credit tap. The price is the same whichever you choose; we don't add a card surcharge. The one exception to paying afterwards is a customer who has previously missed an appointment we travelled to: their next booking asks for 25% up front, applied in full to the total.

How far ahead can I book?+

Appointments open 24 hours ahead and run two weeks out, so there is always at least a day between booking and your detail. Pick a start time from the calendar — that is the time your detailer starts, not the start of a window. The times you see are the ones where we can give your vehicle its full length without rushing.

Do you come to me?+

Yes — we're fully mobile across all of Ottawa, from Kanata to Orleans. We detail your vehicle at your home or office.

Do I need to provide water and electricity?+

Yes. Our detailers work from your outdoor water spigot and a standard outlet — most Ottawa driveways have both within reach. If you're missing either, tell us when you book and we'll confirm a plan before your appointment rather than discover it in your driveway.

Can you detail at a condo, apartment, or office lot?+

Often, yes — what we need is a safe, permitted place to work with water and an outlet in reach: a private driveway, an assigned outdoor stall, or a lot where the building or employer allows mobile detailing. Confirming that permission is yours to do; tell us at booking and we'll plan around it together.

What if my building doesn't allow mobile detailing?+

Then we can't work there — but that rarely ends the story. Many condo customers use a family member's driveway or a workplace lot with permission; the price is identical wherever we set up in Ottawa. Book anyway and tell us in the notes: we'll call you and sort out a plan together, and if nothing works we cancel at no cost.

How long does it take?+

Roughly 1–4 hours depending on the package and the vehicle — the Exterior detail is quickest, the Full Detail on a large SUV takes the longest, and add-ons extend it. You'll see the estimate for your exact configuration when you pick a time, and we only offer start times where we can give it that long.

What should I do with the things in my car?+

Take your valuables and personal belongings out before we arrive — cash, electronics, documents, garage remotes, anything you'd rather handle yourself. Loose items left in the cabin slow the detail down, and we can't be responsible for them. Child seats stay put unless you remove them; we clean around a fitted seat rather than uninstall it.

What if it rains?+

We watch the forecast. If the weather won't let us do the job properly, we move you to the next open appointment at no charge. Since nothing is paid up front, there is nothing to transfer or refund.

What if my car is in rough shape?+

Heavy pet hair, set-in stains, and lingering odours have flat-priced add-ons — pick them when you book and the price stays fixed. Genuinely extreme conditions (biohazards, mould, pests, bodily fluids) need a look first: we'll contact you to reprice with your approval, reschedule, or decline the job at no cost to you. We never spring a new number on you in the driveway.

What if I'm not happy with the detail?+

Tell us within 48 hours and we come back and put it right. Raise it before you pay and we'll sort it out before asking for a penny; if you've already paid and we still can't put it right, we refund you. You deal with White Glove throughout — one company, one number, before, during, and after your appointment.

Is the price final?+

The price you see is the price you pay — fixed when you book, with no on-site upsell, and not charged until the work is done. Ceramic coating and paint protection are the one exception: pricing depends on your paint's condition, so we quote those personally after a quick consultation.

What about clay bar, paint correction, or ceramic coating?+

That work is real paint restoration, and quoting it fairly means seeing your paint first. Tell us about your vehicle on our Paint Protection page and we'll come back with one personalized, fixed price — no deposit until you accept.
